A fun day with a friend who shares the same passion

Last Friday a dear friend took the day off work to spend it with me.  I have been home for a week and thought it would be great to spend the day together.  Not to mention scrapbooking to our hearts content.  Here are 5 cards I made that day using the mini deck - Material Girl from Cosmo Cricket! I've Been A Bad Girl

A lot has happened in the last little while.  We all get caught up in our daily lives and blogging was put on hold.  I was recently diagnosed with an incurable disease. Systemic Lupus Erythematosus.  Yeah that's quite a mouthful.  It's SLE for short.  Basically it's a disease that effects my antibodies.  My antibodies can't distinguish good or bad tissue so it's attacks both.  It can attack my joints, skin & organs.  I am now on a treatment and slowly starting to feel like my old self.  Although this is incurable at this present time the treatment can help me maintain a healthy lifestyle.  I am thankful that I have scrapbooking in my life.  It's been very therapeutic and helps take my mind elsewhere.
