Digital Delights - Dec.15
It's Thursday! :) One day closer to the weekend. :D It's the last weekend until Christmas is here. :O I still can't believe that the holidays are almost upon us. Do you still need to make those last minute projects? You still have time. This week I used two images from Digital Delights new Christmas collection. "Flurry The Snowman" & "Skier Slippy". Both are colored with promarkers. The sentiment is from the "Caroling Sentiments". Right now there is a sale of all winter/Christmas images. The papers are from Basic Grey 6x6 paper pad - Nordic Holiday. The fluff on the hats is flower soft white. I used some stickles on the lantern.
This is the last post for Digital Delights until the New Year. Don't forget to visit the Digital Delights Blog for more inspiration from the team and see this week's challenge.

Digitial Delights Dec.9 & Staedtler
It's Friday!!! In just a few hours the weekend will be here. :) I'm late posting my card for Digital Delights because my internet modem kept rebooting every few minutes. It wasn't my service provider so that means it's either a virus or trojan. It's been years since I had one of those nasty buggers. Of course my antivirus didn't detect it. So I had to run some malware and spyware softwares. In the end I think the free online scanner from microtrend did the trick. Knock on wood everything seems stable now.
Do you realize that in two weekends from now it'll be the Christmas Holidays???? How insane is that? Digital Delights still has you covered for all your holiday crafts. This week I used the "Jingles and Tree" image and the "Caroling Sentiments" image. This time I used a method for coloring that I haven't used in a long time. Pencil crayons with mineral spirit. I have always loved this technique but I have to tell you since using the Staedtler Ergo Soft colored pencils I have a new found joy in this technique. With other pencil crayons I had to go over numerous times to create a shading effect and when applying the mineral spirit my color wasn't spreading out so well. With the Staedtler Ergo Soft I don't have to color everything. The mineral spirit literally pulls out the color from these pencils. For you ladies who love using this technique you have to get the Staedtler Ergo Soft pencils. The papers are from Echo Park 6x6 paper pad - Season's Greetings. Lots and lots of distressing using the Tim Holtz distresser. To create the snow on the tree I used the Flower Soft white. In my opinion it's still the best product I've used to create a snowlike effect.
Be sure to check out http://www.staedtler.ca/ for the rest of their products. Also please go to their facebook page STAEDTLER Mars GmbH & Co. KG and click on like to see all the wonderful inspiration on how to use their products.
And don't forget to head on over to the Digital Delights blog for more creative inspiration from the rest of the DT and also see this week's challenge. You will also see some awesome specials going on!

Pointer Gifts & Crafts
Happy Friday Peeps! Most of you know in October I went to Scrapfest in Oshawa. I had an awesome time and I would do it again. While I was walking the aisles of the venders I came across Pointer Gifts & Crafts. There was a display of the most amazing, original and super sweet rubber images by Dreamerland Crafts. Simon, the owner of Pointer Gifts & Crafts is the artist of Dreamerland Crafts. When I saw them I just had to get my hands on some and create some cards. I am happy to announce that I am on the DT and I will be showcasing his beautiful images. There is a purity in his work that I haven't seen out there. I will be posting at least one card a week.
Today's card is using the image "A Walk By The Seashore". How angelic is she? Can you see how I was compelled to create using this image? She is colored with Promarkers. I used a thicker cardstock this time and I wasn't crazy with the results. I had to go over several times to achieve what I get once with the Stampin Up smooth whisper white cardstock. Stampin Up is still my favorite for coloring with Promarkers. The papers are from Memory Box 6x6 paper pad - Brioche. For the faux stitching I used the Triplus fineliner from Staedtler. The fineliners are beautiful to work with for fine lines and they come in many colors. For the clouds I used the Die-Namics die, for my flowers I also used the Die-Namics rolled flower die. TFL! Be sure to check out Pointer Gifts & Crafts, they deliver and the customer service is super friendly.

Digital Delights - Dec.1st New Release
It's Release time again at Digital Delights. You know what makes Digital Delights so special. Not only are the images adorable but the price is low enough to make you want to get a selection. Once again I had a hard time choosing which image to use because they are all so sweet. I did make a choice and he is so stinking cute. "Hop Hat n Tail Slippy". He is perfect for A NEW YEAR's card, graduation, party, etc. He is colored with promarkers. The papers are from Prima 6x6 paper pad - Printery. Gorgeous vintage paper that went so well with the theme I wanted to create.

Digital Delights - Nov.23 and Some Big News!
Happy Thursday everyone! Yesterday morning I woke up to the first snow of the season which is fitting for today's card. I just love the first snow and seeing nothing but white....it doesn't last long though especially when you have to walk through it. LOL. Today's Digital Delights image is "Tango The Skating Bird". I just adore this image. It makes me happy. The image is colored using promarkers. The sentiment is from the "A Touch Of Christmas Sentiments". The papers are from My Mind's Eye 6x6 paper pad - Darling Dear. The snowflakes are cut from the Fa-la-la cartridge for the Slice. Yes I still use it for small details. For the image and the sentiment I created a faux stitching using the Triplus fineliner 0.3mm from Staedtler. I use the fineliner a lot for clean lines. I have always loved the packaging from Staedtler as well as the quality of their products. Ever since I can remember I have always used their erasures, pencils, watercolor pencils and markers. I am so excited to share with you some fabulous news. Staedtler has their first ever Design Team and I was asked to join. Like I said I have been using their products for many years now and they have been a part of my life since I could pick up a pencil. I will be posting in the next day or two more info and introduce the rest of the team.
As always the rest of the team outdid themselves so be sure to head on over to the Digital Delights Blog to see what they did and also see this week's challenge. Happy crafting!!!

Digital Delights - Nov.10
It's...........Thursday!!! I'm here again with another card for Digital Delights. I finally found some fun Christmas paper to work with. It went perfect with the adorable "Candy Cane Jingles" image and the "Candy Cane Sign Post" image. I used promarkers for coloring. I love how the soft hue of blue came out on Jingles. I used the blender a lot for this. As I said, the images worked beautifully with the 6x6 papers from Echo Park - Holly Jolly Christmas. You can get them here at Scrapbook Star. The delivery is super fast and the customer service is super friendly! :D The snowflakes are from Jolee's Boutique (EK Success). I won them at the Scrapfest I went to last month. I used a little Distress Stain on the sign to give it a snowy feel.
Please don't forget to go to the Digital Delights Blog to see what the rest of the DT did. There's a lot of inspiration!!! And of course while you are there be sure the check out the latest challenge! TFL!

Di's Digi Designs - Nov.5 - Ribbons and Bows
It's time for another Di's Digi Designs Challenge - Ribbons and Bows. It's time to dig into your ribbon stash and use those ribbons. The bows don't have to be used from your ribbon. You can be inventive. For my card I used the "Off For A Walk" image. I colored using Promarkers. The papers are from Creative Imaginations 6x6 - Loolah. The flowers are hand made but cut using the rolled flower die from Die-Namics. I recommend this die because they are super easy to put together. Remember the day when we had to create a swirl and then cut it out? With the die you save half the time. I will make a tutorial soon so you can see for yourself how super easy this is. The gems are from Heidi Swapp from my old stash and colored with Promarkers.
Please head on over to Di's Digi Design Challenge Blog and see what the rest of the team did. You have until the 18th to enter the Ribbon and Bows challenge. The sponsor for this challenge is Crafts 4 You - it's a $10 voucher and if you use a Di's Digi image you will be automatically entered for another draw for 2 Di's images. How sweet is that? :D

Digital Delights Nov.3 - New Release
Happy Thursday everyone! Now with Halloween officially wrapped up guess what has started to invade the stores? Christmas decorations and supplies. Whooah. How did the year pass so quickly? Next month is Christmas but Digital Delights has you covered with their new release. I wanted to work with them all and I actually did use quite a few on my card. I used the Candy Cane Accessories Set which is Santa's chair, Sitting Santa & Poppet The Fairy which are all colored with promarkers. I also used the A Touch Of Christmas sentiments. What I love about Digital Delights images is that there are plenty of sentiments that work together with the images. I used the Graphic 45 8x8 papers - Christmas Emporium. The leaf die is from Die-Manics. TFL!
Now head on over to the Digital Delights Blog and see what the rest of the DT did with the new releases. They have outdone themselves! And while you are there check out the latest challenge!

Digital Delights Oct.27
It's Thursday!!! And that means another card using Digital Delights images. I've been doing so many Halloween and Christmas themes so this week I decided to use this darling image "Fairy". It's been a while since I did a girly card. She is colored with promarkers. I used stickles on the wings and wand. The papers are from My Mind's Eye 6x6 - Lost & Found Market Street. The flowers and leaves are from I am Roses. The pearls are from the dollar store. I always seem to forget adhesives. I use a mixture. I use Tombow dots for layering my papers. I use pop ups from American Crafts when I want to pop things like I did with the image. And for my flowers I always use Kool Tak Craft dots. They are super easy to use and hold well.
Now head on over to the Digital Delights blog for the latest challenge and see all the inspiration from the team. And don't forget to leave some "love" while you are there.

Di's Digi Designs - Oct.22
There is a brand new challenge blog that started in September called Di's Digi Design Challenges. The images are digital and I've been on Diane's team for about a year now and I was so excited when she decided to start a challenge blog. Every two weeks there is a new challenge and the prizes are awesome. Today is a new challenge and the theme is Halloween. You still have time to pick up some images for Halloween.
For my card I used the "Bewitched Carly" image. She is colored with promarkers. The papers are from We R Memory Keepers 6x6 - Spookville. I said this before just about every paper line now has 6x6 format. I felt my card was missing something so I made my own pin. I used a die to cut out 2 stars and used a pop dot to attach it and the pin. On one side I used glossy accents. I got the idea from ScrapMuch? when I was at Scrapfest. They have a technique posted every Wednesday on their blog. I took a look and they have lots of cool and easy techniques. I love how my pin turned out and it allowed me to hang my haunted house charm.
Now head on over to Di's Digi Design Challenges and see what the rest of the team did and see the challenge in more detail.
On Sunday I will be announcing the winner to my blog candy.

Digital Delights Oct.20
I am back! My trip to Scrapfest was absolutely amazing. It was non stop cropping, classes & lots of craziness. My first night was spent cropping in a hotel suite. I believe we were 6 that night. I managed to complete this week's card there. The next day we once again cropped in the room because Scrapfest did not open until 5PM. However we were allowed there at 4PM to set up our stuff. There was a big loot bag for everyone. At 5PM the vender's opened and let me tell you it was madness. 150 women at the crop + women waiting in line for the vender's. I was fortunate to have a make 'n' take with Karen Ellis. She now has an online store for Art Journaling supplies. Her store is called The Art House Studio. She is just a burst of joy. I did a card which I want to add some finishing touches before I post. I then managed to finish another card for another team I am on. Saturday it was another busy day. I took another class with Karen. We had a group photo taken and the background was made by Karen Ellis. When I asked her how long it took her she said she stopped counting after 50 hours. It was stunning. I had a class with Vicki Boutin early afternoon it was a mixed media class using 7Gypsies products and DecoArt. I enjoyed every minute. I learned a lot that could be translated into art journaling. I take back more than I expected from that class. Vicki is such an energetic woman. She totally rocks. Would you believe I didn't scrap at all at the crop. It was only when I returned to the suite with the other ladies that I started another card. It went so fast. I loved every second and I would absolutely do it again. Here is the photo I mentioned. I was exhausted. I am the middle one in the back row.
Now onto this week's card for Digital Delights. The image is "Pumpkin Lara". She is colored with Promarkers. The 6x6 papers are from Best Creations - Happy Haunting. Remember Halloween is around the corner. Be sure to get your Halloween images before it's too late.
Please don't forget to head on over to the Digital Delights blog to see what the rest of the team did and also check out the latest challenge.

Yippee It's Thursday!
Hi everyone! I have this scheduled and right now I am on my way to Scrapfest. It's my first time and I am so excited! I'll be with great people and I have a class booked with Vicki Boutin!!! There are so many things to look forward too. Two full days of crops, make n takes, marketplace, classes and meeting people I've talked with on message boards. :D
This week's card for Digital Delights I used the image "Shop & Talk Vicky". I used Promarkers for coloring. I used the "Born To Shop" sentiment. Once again I am using a new line of papers. It's Memory Box 6x6 pad - Brioche. All I can say is thank goodness for Simon Says Stamp because none of my LSS carries Memory Box. I made the 3 flowers on the top of the card using dies (the 2 smaller ones are from Die-Namics & the larger one from Spellbinders). They are a must have ladies!!!! I will post pictures when I get back. The flower on the bottom is from I AM Roses. I used Glossy Accents on the sunglasses.
Now head over to Digital Delights and see what other wonderful creations the team did and also see the latest challenge. Thanks for stopping by and next post I will tell you all about my trip to Scrapfest as well as announcing the winner to my Blog Candy.

Digital Delights Oct.6
Happy Thursday everyone! Today is another release from Digital Delights. Christmas is coming!!! You will absolutely love the Christmas release. I used the image "Ornament Pippin" and "Swinging Edwina". They both are colored using Promarkers. On ornament pippin I used white flower soft on the hat. It is by far the best for creating snow or fluff on Christmas hats. I also used a Staedtler triplus gel-liner (metallic gold) on the ornament. This is the best metallic pen set I have used. The flow is continious and does not blotch. The street light image is from the "Carolers Accessories Colored". The traditional papers are from Authentique 6x6 paper pad. It's the first time I used Authentique and I can tell you it won't be my last. The papers are sturdy for distressing and they are single sided. :D No fighting which side to use.
Now head on over to the Digital Delights Blog for this month's release and see what the rest of the team did. While you are there be sure to see the next challenge.
I will be posting the winner to my Blog Candy Contest in the next few days. Some people had issues when using inlinkz and left comments so I will figure out a way to include them in the draw. Be sure to come back over the weekend! Until then Happy Crafting!

Digital Delights Sept.22 & A Reminder About My Blog Candy
Happy Thursday everyone. I am sorry I am a little behind today in my post. Did you know that Digital Delights is having a fall sale? After seeing my card head on over to the Digital Delights Blog and take advantage on the sale. Be sure to also see what the rest of the team did.
I have another cute halloween themed card to share with you today. This time I used "Haystacks The Scarecrow". I don't know about you but I loved the scarecrow from The Wizard Of Oz so when I saw this super cute image I just had to do something with it. He is colored with promarkers. There was a little accident in coloring him. The straw coming out from around his neck was colored in teal. I really didn't want to color all over again so I recolored all the straw in teal and then used walnut & cocoa. And you want to know what? Sometimes accidents are good ones. I like how he turned out. The house is from the "Halloween Accessories" which is already colored. It fit perfectly with the papers from Fancy Pants 6x6 pad - Oct.31. It made me love Fancy Pants all over again. :D

Digital Delights Sept.6
Good Morning Everyone! Did you know that the stores have been stocking up with items for Halloween. It's always a reality check that summer is coming to an end. Big Sigh! But I love Halloween and this year I get to go with my nephew who lives in another province. That makes me happy!!! :D Last week I showed you a card with the new Halloween Release. This week I am using old and new images.
My card for this week is another halloween theme. I used the "Ghost in Cauldron" and colored with promarkers. I used the new "Halloween Accessories Colored" for part of my background. And I used the "Halloween Sentiments Two". Those cute little bats were cut using my slice. Yes I finally unpacked it. LOL. TFL!
Now head on over to the Digital Delights Blog to see what the rest of the team did as well as checking out the latest challenge.

New Beginnings
Happy Holiday Monday! I hope everyone is enjoying their free day. The weather here is kinda crappy so it was perfect to start a new project I am working on. Yeah! As most of you know I had a rough year. Lots of big changes in my life and it just seemed that as soon as I recovered something else happened. I am happy to say I have adjusted to the changes and FINALLY I got my craft back on!!!! Yup I have started pulling out my scrap supplies. I was doing my DT Work but it was a little hard at first. What I wasn't doing anymore was projects and things for myself.
For a few weeks now I have been thinking of documenting the changes in my life in the form of a "Smash" journal book. The book I have is not exactly for this kind of theme so I decided to create my own. I have the tools and now I have the drive. Today I am posting the first page. My book will be 8x8 and I already have a beautiful hard cover from Zutter.
I used kraft paper. A page from a book and used wood shapes with glimmer mist to create my silhouettes. The pussywillow is from Prima and I also stamped an image below it. I was so excited with the results. I will probably add some more journaling at a later date. Page two to come shortly. I forgot to add 2 things so I have to rephotograph it. TFL!

Digital Delights Sept.1st Halloween Release
Happy Thursday everyone! Today is release day for Digital Delights. We have super spooky halloween images that are must haves for halloween card, tags, decorative bags, etc. I just loved working on "Broomstick Bella". I colored her with Promarkers. I also used the "Circular Halloween Scene Color" as well as the "Witching You Halloween" Sentiment. I used distressed ink to color the sentiment. The papers are from Nikki Sivils 6x6 pad - Boo-tiful. Used some pop-ups on the sentiment and Broomstick Bella. TFL!
Please head on over to the Digital Delights Blog to see what the rest of the team did and to check out the latest challenge.

Digital Delights Aug.25
Here's an update with my cockroach situation. I am still seeing them after the fumigation but even seeing one is enough. However, where I store my dog's food there was one in his bag. I freaked! I threw that bag away luckily it was 1/4 left to the bag. I opened a new one but it's 40lbs. :P I put some in a big tupperware and closed the bag and put it in two garbage bags. The exterminator came back today and I liked this one much better!!! He said it is normal and I will still see a few. But he fumigated the storage area as well as going over what the previous exterminator did and filled more gel into areas. Then he put more traps. I asked him for honesty. Will I be rid of them and he said my place is very clean and what i am seeing is not a bad case. I can still expect to see them for another week or so but you know what....I am so tired. I don't sleep well and i look everywhere to make sure they are not there. I haven't been a month in my apt and already I want to leave. The problem is it's not the time for lots of apts because leases finish in June. Someone told me G-d doesn't give us more than we can handle.....I say if he's listening I would like to have a break!!!
Onto this week's card for Digital Delights! This week I used the image "Penny and Bear" with the Ticket Sentiments. I colored her with promarkers. Sometimes the lighting goes a little off with my camera when I have red. The blending is much better IRL. The papers are from My Mind's Eye (Lost & Found) 6x6 - Rosy. All the Lost & Found series are stunning. The flowers are from I Am Roses and the gems were colored with promarkers. The inking is with distress inks.
Be sure to head on over to the Digital Delight blog to see what the rest of the team did as well as seeing the new challenge. TFL and have a great weekend. Most of you are probably preparing your kids for Back To School so enjoy the last few days before madness starts!!!

Digital Delights Aug.18
As most of you know I was on a little break so I could move. Things got a little complicated when I found out I have cockroaches. Yesterday they fumigated my place and sealed up all the holes. I am happy to say since the holes were closed I haven't seen anymore. I tried to remain calm but tried is the key word! I was petrified!!! This was the longest 20 days I have ever gone through. The clean up is slow going because would you stick your arm in a cabinet knowing what could be there???? Crossing fingers this is the last time I see them.
Ok so now for my card. Since I haven't unpacked much of my scrappy stuff I am a little limited at the moment. No cricut, no inks, mists, & fancy embellishments. I did however unpack my cuttlebug and my punches were close at hand. I used the sweet image "Briley And Her Balloons" which is colored with Promarkers (Letraset now has these ultra fine nibs for really small spaces and let me tell you they work within seconds of putting them on. This is a must have and the nib is easily removeable so you can use the original point.) The sentiment is also from Digital Delight and it is "Let's Party". Lucky me I had one pink button in my tool case. The flowers were also easy to get to and they are from "I Am Roses". The bigger flower I have no idea. That cute bear charm is from Whimsey and they have a nice selection of charms at a really affordable price. The papers are from Echo Park 6x6 pad - Country Drive. Is it me or are their papers just getting more beautiful! TFL and please visit the Digital Delight blog to see what the rest of the DT did and to see what the next challenge is! Until next time!

I Am Back!!!
Hello everyone!!! I survived the move. It was a crazy few weeks. Not to mention that after the first night in my new home I found out I have some pesky roommates!!! Cockroaches!!! I was devastated to say the least. On top of that my landlord was on vacation and then came down with pneumonia. On a happy note my place is being fumigated on Wednesday so I am hoping I will finally be able to enjoy my new home. There was also a problem with the post as I didn't have a key to my lock and everything was being sent to a holding area. Today was the first day that my mail carrier didn't have to ring my bell to let me have my mail. I now have a new lock and key. :D Fiou!
Today I finally have a new card to share with you. My first card since the move. Needless to say I have still some unpacking to do with all my scrappy stuff so no cricut cutting and no inking. This is using the Aug.15 kit for Passion Collimagination. Big sigh!!! I used to live 5 minutes away and now I am on the other side of the world. LOL. Not really the other side but it's now quite a bit away. No more biking there.
The kit consists of Basic Grey - Out Of Print Papers. Gorgeous. The stamp is from La La Land Crafts - Marci. Isn't she just a doll? I used Promarkers for coloring. There is also ribbon, gems & prima fabric flowers. TFL and be sure to pick up your kit at Passion before they all disappear. I was told my last card/kit sold out in a day! :D

Lara Ladybug by Digital Delights
Happy Thursday everyone. I have a card to share with you today. Next week I will not be posting anything as I am moving. But I hope to be back the first week of August.
Today's card is using the super sweet image "Lara Ladybug" from Digital Delights. It's my favorite insect. I used to love counting the black spots before they flew away. :D She is colored with promarkers. The papers are the 6x6 from 7 Gypsies - Mykonos. The gem swirl is from Zva and colored with a promarker. The flowers are from I Am Roses. TFL and don't forget to visit The Digital Delights by Louby Loo Blog to see what the rest of the team did.

Digital Delights by Louby Loo
Happy Thursday everyone! I am excited to announce that I made the Digital Delights DT and if you like adorable, cute images then you will make Digital Delights a regular stop for images, papers & sentiments.
For my card this week I used the "Claudia Cow" image. I don't know why but I have a thing for cows maybe it's all the road trips I took. LOL. But isn't she SUPER CUTE! I used the "I Love MOO!" sentiment. I colored her with Promarkers. The papers are the Echo Park - Summer Days. The papers are so bright and cheerful. The stitckers are also from Echo Park. The yarn is from We R Memory Keepers. I also used my Slice from Making Memories for the shapes.
Be sure to check out the Digital Delights Blog to see what the rest of the DT did and also check out the Digital Delights Challenge Blog.

Has This Ever Happened To You?
I was going to enter a challenge at Willow Sketchie Challenge and wouldn't you know it I missed the deadline because of the time zone. I had my card finished and was going to submit and bang it was too late. I am posting it anyway. The card challenge was using a sketch with a little twist. Must have red and something shiny/sparkly.
I used the cute image "Colin In The Garden". I used promarkers for coloring. Did you know that Promarkers will now have a nib to attach for super fine work? I am so excited because lots of images I color have spaces that are so hard to reach. They are also making it in a 3 pack and it looks like they really wanted to keep the cost down. But will be even more cost productive is if the new markers will have the attachment. The papers are from Echo Park - For The Record. Gorgeous aren't they? The charms are from Whimsey Stamps. The yarn is from We R Memory Keepers. TFL! Be sure to check out the new challenge that goes live on Thursday.

Announcing Passion Collimagination Guest DT
I am so happy to announce that I will be a Guest DT for Passion Collimagination for the months of July-September. I missed being at a LSS and when I saw Passion and it is 5 minutes from home I was so happy. I have been going to their crops and meeting the people. It's mostly french but I get by. It's really a friendly group of women and the owner Melissa is super amazing. She made me feel welcome right away and I have been fortunate to have met some of the other DT. If you want a friendly and funny atmosphere then Passion is the place.
For my July kit I used the gorgeous and delicate papers and products from Pink Paislee - Butterfly Garden which is this month's card kit. Inside this kit you will find wood chipboard and delicate fabric flowers. The stamp is one of my favorite stamping artist, Mo Manning and the beautiful angelic image is the "Fairy Kiki". The pearls and ribbon are my favorite. If you want to see this card IRL it will be at the store shortly. But for now here it is.
I made an easel card. They are super easy to make. My cards are 6"x6" so cut a cardstock 6"x12". With a scorepad or freehand score at 3" and then at 6". Now fold them and what you have is half a card top. Cut a 6"x6" cardstock and you will adhere it to the half fold on top. I will make a tutorial soon in case you don't understand.
I used crackle glossy accents to give the wings a delicate feel. The image "Fairy Kiki" is colored with Promarkers. The bird cage was lots of glimmer mist and paint dabbers. The finishing touch was some stickles. The leaves were cut using the Stampin' Up die cut.
This is the inside of my card. Take note when you are making an easel card to use elements that will help keep your card open to the easel card. In this case I often distress the edges of my patterned paper because that alone does the trick. But you can use brads, buttons, flowers, etc.

A Spot Of Gardening
I was blogging the other day and stumbled upon Willow Designs. For anyone interested they are having a DT Call for Willow Sketchie Challenge Blog showcasing Willow Designs. The deadline is July 7th. There is something special about Sharon's images. I instantly wanted the Double Sprinkles Of Kraft. Unfortunately we are having a postal strike in Canada and it's taking longer than usual to receive it. Patience is hard but I have a few other images to play with until it arrives.
For my card I used the image "A Spot Of Gardening". I think my love of owls has returned!!! I used Promarkers for coloring. I still think Promarkers are the best medium out there. I instantly knew the new papers from Pink Paislee - Hometown Summer would be perfect with this image. It's been a while since I used Chandelier Garlands from Magnolia. The flowers are from I Am Roses. My mushrooms were cut using the software Make The Cut for my Cricut Expression. Is it bad if I say I haven't bought a cartridge since I started making my own designs??? Shhhhhhh. The gems are from Stampin' Up and colored with Promarkers. TLF!

Pollycraft DT Call
I had the pleasure of being a GDT for Pollycraft in February. They are now having a DT Call to add a couple of gals. They are also giving 2 freebies to enter for the call. They are must haves so be sure to get them. The call is open until June 27. I am also entering this for their Monday Challenges which is ribbons and flowers.
I used "Sonny's Party" image. She is colored with Promarkers. The papers are from Echo Park - Little Girl collection. I made a shaped card. It's only my 2nd one and I am loving this style. I created the cut-outs and used Make The Cut to cut using my Cricut Expression. I think I will start giving some of my designs as freebies so be sure to check back regularly. The flowers and leaves are from I Am Roses. The gems are colored with Promarkers and are from Stampin' Up. For the balloon I printed an extra image and popped the balloon for dimension. TFL and good luck to those who try out!!!

Teddy Bo DT Call
Look who is having a DT Call! Teddy Bo images are super sweet. If you love bears then look no more. There is a wonderful collection of bears both masculine and feminine. I almost missed this call and I am entering with little time to spare. Fiou! LOL. The challenge is to use a shaped card instead of a square or rectangle. It was a little tricky because my usual style is square shaped.
I used the adorable "Top of The Toadstool" image. She is colored with promarkers. The papers are from Jillibean Soup - Blossom Soup. Jillibean is one of my favorite 6x6 pads lately. The ticket is made with Whimsy Shapeology Ticket Die. The flowers are from I Am Roses. My card was cut using the software Make The Cut for the Cricut Expression. I designed the outline shape as well as the oval circle and oval scalloped circle. It really comes in handy having a graphic designer background! :D TFL! And good luck to all the entries!!!

I believe we are given life lessons for a reason and whatever my future holds I know I have found the answers that I have been seeking. Life is about making mistakes but knowing that they shouldn't be repeated. I promise you all I will be back soon!

The grand prize will consist of the entire digital set made just for this cause as well as a gift certificate donated by Ann of Raindrop Echo Designs worth 10$ to use at the Whimsy Stamps store! To enter, you must help us advertise for this cause by posting the "Help Japan" button on your blog's side bar (just grab it from my side bar or from the top of this post) and then get your name on the Inlinkz option on Crissy's post so we can be sure to find the winner.
For my card I used the Meljen's gorgeous image "Kimono Bear". I colored using Promarkers. The touching sentiment is from Raindrop Echo Designs. The beautiful papers are from the Mini Deck from Cosmo Cricket - Circa 1934. The flowers and skelton leaves are from I Am Roses. The stunning bird charm is from My Mind's Eye.
Next you'll want to visit Annika's blog to continue hopping. Thank you so much for stopping by, and for your support of this very worthy cause.
Now just in case you got lost here is the list with the links in order!

The Stamping Bazaar And Some Changes
Happy Sunday everyone. I hope everyone is enjoying the Spring weather we are finally having. Mother Nature had fooled us on the first day of Spring it snowed here.
As you may have noticed we used to hold challenges every Friday. We are stopping challenges for the moment and going through some changes. The first is that The Stamping Bazaar is having a DT Call which ends April 4th. Don't forget to enter if you are interested in joining this fabulous team!!! I have enjoyed this team immensely and look forward to continuing with the present team and the newbies!
Every Monday on The Stamping Bazaar we will showcase to you what the design team have produced using Stamping Bazaar images.
All the digi images that have been used by the DT have as always been designed by our very own Marina Neira and are available at The Stamping Bazaar Store. Check out the store for special offers that Marina puts together for limited times.
Each day of the week you will be getting inspiration from each one of our talented team. The DT are going to show you on their own blogs how they made their creations, and you will be able to follow the links to the image in the Store and for the next days DT member throughout the week.
Today is my day. I used the image "Josie In Hat" and she is colored with Promarkers. The papers are from the new 6x6 pads from My Mind's Eye - Hazel. I used my slice to cut the eggs using the Spring cartridge. The basket was cut using my cricut with the Make The Cut software for a custimized basket. My only regret is that I didn't have the stuffing that is used for easter baskets. When I come across it I will add it to my card.

DYSU #13 Clear, Lt. Pink & Mauve
This week's sponsors are:
Blackleaf: is giving stamp set "Lantern Stamps"
Digis with Attitude: is giving a $10 CAD (Canadian Funds) Gift Certificate for their store
I love the effect as the inner tube now has an appearance of plastic. The Lt.Pink is in the PP that looks like a wave and my cardstock, the mauve is also in the PP and the color of the inner tube.
Now head on over to DYSU Blog and see all the other creations made from the team and see if you were the lucky winner from last week.
