Round & Round We Go - Pointer Gifts & Crafts

Hi Everyone! Sorry for the late post.  My desktop computer crashed - looks like it is the motherboard :(.  So I had to set up my laptop to use in the meantime. 

Today I am posting a card using an image by Dreamerland Crafts (rubber stamp line) from Pointer Gifts & Crafts. They are based in Markham, Ontario.


Today's card is done using "Round And Round We Go#D122023" image. This is from the new line. Better get it fast as Christmas is right around the corner.  The image is colored with promarkers. The papers are from Doodlebug - North Pole 6x6 paper pad. I paper pierced the ornament.  I also took out The Slice and used the Fa La La cartridge for the trees.  I popped the tree and sentiment for some dimension.

Wet & Rainy Days Fun - Pointer Crafts

Happy Saturday! Today I am posting a card using an image by Dreamerland Crafts (rubber stamp line) from Pointer Gifts & Crafts. They are based in Markham, Ontario and the delivery is super quick.

Today's card is done using "Wet & Rainy Days Fun#DM12009" image. This is from the new Fall 2012 line. The image is colored with promarkers. The papers are from Lost & Found - My Mind's Eye - Blush 6x6 paper pad.  I paper pierced the umbrella and boots. I popped the top part of the umbrella to give it dimension.  There is a lot of fussy cutting here using the Tim Holtz distresser. I also inked the edges using distress inks. The doily is from the dollar store. TFL and have a wonderful weekend.

Balancing Exercise

Happy Sunday! Today I am posting a card using an image by Dreamerland Crafts (rubber stamp line) from Pointer Gifts & Crafts. Simon's images just instantly get my creative juices flowing.  They are based in Markham, Ontario and the delivery is super quick.

Today's card is done using "Balancing Exercise #D1109015" image.  The image is colored with promarkers. The papers are a mix but I used My Mind's Eye - Stella & Rose 6x6 paper pad.  The flowers and leaves are from I Am Roses.  I used the spellbinders standard circles & scallops large.  There is a lot of fussy cutting here using the Tim Holtz distresser.  I also inked the edges using distress inks.

Di's Digi Challenge Oct.13 - Too Cute To Spook

It's that time of year again.  Halloween is right around the corner and what better motivation to get you to create all things Halloween than with a super fun challenge. The challenge at Di's Digi Challenge today is "Too Cute To Spook".  For my card I used the "My Team" image which is colored with Promarkers.  I printed the image twice so I could pop the dress and hat.  If you want this image or others please click here.  The papers are from We R Memory Keepers - Spookville 6x6 pad.  For the bat I took out my Slice machine and used the Spellbound cartridge.  I used the Tim Holtz distresser.

Pointer Gifts & Crafts - Dreamerland Crafts

Hello Everyone!  Today I am posting to let you all know that at Scrapfest in Oshawa I had the pleasure of meeting the artist & owner Simon of Dreamerland Crafts (rubber stamp line).  He and his lovely wife Heidi own Pointer Gifts & Crafts in Markham, Ontario.  I was in awe of Simon's rubber stamps. I immediately bought a few and sent him the cards I did and I was happy to be informed that I made their Design Team.  I was excited to say the least.  It is so amazing to meet an artist in person and be selected to join their team.  I look forward to working with Dreamerland Crafts Stamps as they inspire the creativity in me.

Today's card is done using the "Together Under The Umbrella #DM12011" image.  I love umbrella's and this image was so much fun to color.  The image is colored with promarkers but the umbrella is paper pierced and popped up for dimension.  The beautiful papers are from Prima - Romance Novel 6x6 pad.  The first paper I have bought in a long while.  The flowers are from I Am Roses.  The gems are from Stampin' Up and colored with Promarkers to match the colors from my paper.

Di's Digis Challenge - Animals Acting Like Humans

Happy Saturday Everyone,

Here is my first challenge back at Di's Digis.  I feels so good to be crafting again.  While I was away Blogspot changed so I am trying to figure things out. :P

This lovely image "Izzys Plant Pots" was colored using Promarkers. I had really missed the feel of the markers in my hands.  The papers are from My Mind's Eye - Fine and Dandy 6x6 paper pad.  I used quite of bit of die cuts from Die-namics (Flower Swirls, Clouds & Leafy Flourish).  I used the Tim Holtz distresser and the fence is from Magenta.

I'm Back

Hello Peeps,
It's been a long while since I've been here.  I took time away from scrapbooking/card making due to personal reasons.  Although scrapping has always soothed my soul it was a decision that I needed to make.  I am really happy to be back and to announce I am back on Di's Digis DT.  I will post more info with links and when the challenges go up.

I thought since this is my first post back I would post a card.  This one was for a co-worker who asked me to make her a wedding card.  I used new dies from My Favorite Things DIE ONLY CONTEMPO CAGE Die-Namics MFT, leaves die from Stampin' Up and the flowers are from I AM ROSES.  The papers are from Creative Imaginations 6 x 6 LOOLAH Paper Pad.

Really Reasonable Ribbon Guest Spot

Happy Sunday everyone!  I am excited to share a card I did for a guest spot for Really Reasonable Ribbon and the challenge is Valentine's Day.  I love their ribbon and they have a monthly pack that really rocks and the price is affordable.  I used the image from Digitial Delights "Heart Peeking Larry" because they are sponsoring Really Reasonable Ribbon for this challenge.  They are giving a $5 gift certificate to a random winner!!!  I colored my image with promarkers.  The papers are from Bo Bunny 6x6 paper pad - Crush Collection.  This was released last year but I never saw it in stores.  Hopefully you can still get your hands on it because it is a gorgeous love themed collection without being over the top.  TFL!
