Today I get to share with you some exciting news. I am super excited to announce that I have joined the i-Crafter team. It is a new company which launched last year. Today I am sharing with you some items from the i-Crafter July Release. I used the Flip Card Snowflake die and the Holiday Wiper Insert Die to create a holiday card which holds a gift card. Below you will find the steps to create your own Warm Wishes Card.
Step 1 - Trim White Cardstock to 8 1/2” x 5 1/2”, score at 4 1/4” and fold in half for a vertical side fold card. (A2)
Step 2 - Diecut Flip Card Snowflake using a Holiday Patterned Paper. Place the large die with the Snowflake inside with the notch matching at the bottom. Fold on the score lines and adhere to the front of the card to the left side. Diecut the snowflake using Gold Glitter Cardstock, this will only diecut 3 flakes so turn it around to diecut the other 3. Adhere the snowflake on top of the other snowflake
Step 3 - Trim Red Cardstock to 5 1/2” x 4 1/4”. I used the Flip Card Snowflake die unconventionally to diecut the Snowflake outline in red. Adhere to card.
Step 4 - Diecut Flip Card Snowflake sentiment using Red Cardstock and adhere to card using Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive.
Step 5 - Trim Holiday Patterned Paper to 5 1/2” x 4 1/4. Adhere to the top inside of the card using Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive.
Step 6 - Diecut Holiday Wiper Insert using Holiday Patterned Paper. Assemble and adhere to card by placing the two folds at the inside crease and adhere the top fold to the top inside card while the card is open flat.
Step 7 - Diecut the strips using Green Cardstock. This will hold the message when the card opens. You can extend the strip by placing another diecut on top. Diecut the sentiment For and You and adhere to the top of the strips and then adhere it behind in the crease.
I used the Flip Card Snowflake unconventionally but I will have another post shortly showing the way it was intended. I wanted to show how versatile this die set is. The Holiday Wiper Insert can be used for any occasion to hold any gift cards. It is very simple to assemble and adhere to the inside of the card. Thank you for stopping by and Happy Crafting.
