Club Scrap August Artist Team Challenge Pinterest Tried It

Hi Everyone,
Welcome back to the Club Scrap Artist Team Challenge. This month's challenge is based on the newest feature on Pinterest. "Tried It". I went to the Club Scrap Pinterest Account and chose a Pin with a technique that inspired me. Once I completed the technique I click "Tried It". There are so many awesome techniques/tutorials but I was inspired by Julie's Double Stencil Technique. When I saw it I knew I had to try it out. For her original post go here. For the Pinterest Pin go here. Before we get started let's take care of business. If you came from Roni's Blog you came from the right place. If you didn't you can start at the beginning with Karen at Club Scrap's Blog.

Finished card measures 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" folded

The base of card is using the plain cardstock from Vintage Botany. I used the Sunflowers & Twin Tags Circles Stencil. I did this technique a little different instead of using both stencils at the same time I used the Sunflowers first and then placed the Twin Tags Circles on top and inked in a different color. I used Distress Oxides for both colors. The white cardstock is from the Paris Flea Market and is matted on black cardstock also from this kit. The sentiment is from Pattern Play and is inked with India Black Ink. All products used is from Club Scrap with the exception of Distress Oxides.

  3. Oh Wow! Using two stencils for an image is a fantastic idea. I especially like the large opening stencils with the smaller patterned stencils. They are amazing.
