The New Domed Foam Applicator from Scrapbook.com Review

Hi everyone,
Today I have a video to share with you doing a product review. I am comparing a traditional foam applicator vs. the new domed foam applicator by Scrapbook.com. I had to try it out for myself to see if this would be the solution to my blending issues. Click on the link below and see for yourself how well the domed foam applies ink onto your cardstock. It is flawless and less time consuming.

I hope you were as amazed as I was how awesome ink blending is with the new domed foam applicator from Scrapbook.com. Here is the link to Scrapbook.com with all the different options to purchase it. Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Over The Rainbow Skies Are Blue Card

Hello Everyone,
Today I am sharing a card using the stamp set from Simon Says Stamp Look For The Rainbows. I built the card based on the sentiment. "Skies" lead to the clouds and the color theme Blue. Below you will find the steps to create your own card.

Step 1 - Trim White Cardstock to 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", score at 4 1/4" and fold in half for a vertical side fold card. (A2)

Step 2 - Trim White Cardstock to 5 1/2" x 4 1/4". Stamp Look For The Rainbows image towards the bottom using Gina K Amalgam Ink. Stamp again on Gina K Masking Magic. Fussy cut the masked image. Remove the release sheet and apply over the stamped image on the cardstock.

Step 3 - Create clouds using the Mini Cloud Edges Stencil with an ink applicator and Broken China Distress Oxide to the cardstock from Step 2.

Step 4 - Remove the mask and colour in using Alcohol Markers. I used the new Illustrators from Spectrum Noir. See photo towards the end of the post with the caps shown.

Step 5 - Stamp Look For The Rainbow sentiment using Versafine Onyx Black Ink.

Step 6 - Diecut Double Stitched Rectangles to the background. Adhere to card front using fun foam and Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive.

Step 7 - For added interest and sparkle randomly adhere Blue Jewels using a Crystal Katana and Collage Medium.

I love when you get inspired by something you don't normally get inspired by. I feel this took me out of my comfort zone. Below is a link to all the products used. For the Illustrators from Spectrum Noir you can get them at Crafter's Companion. All orders over $75 are shipped free. Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful day.
