Finished card measures 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" folded

For this card I chose to go with black, white, grey theme. I used the dark grey plain cardstock for the base of my card. I used the gorgeous 12x12 patterned paper for my background and mat it with light grey plain cardstock. I love the black/white polka dot bow and managed to do a double bow. I used the plain enamel dots grey. For the sentiment I used the glitter paper from the Celebrate Kit and diecut it 3 times (glitter top layer, grey middle layer and black last later) I offset it slightly to highlight it on this busy card. See photo below.

For this card I used the grey plain cardstock for the base of my card. I used the patterned paper for the background. I love the splatter and decided to add color to the center. Using the twin tags circle stencil on green plain cardstock I inked Club Scrap India Ink & offset Pigment White. I diecut it with a stitched circle die from Elizabeth Craft Designs. I topped it off with the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Pattern Play kit.

Club Scrap June Artist Team Challenge

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to Club Scrap's June Artist Team Challenge. This month the Artist Team was challenged to create using one layer. This was my hardest challenge yet but I have to admit I love how it took me out of my comfort zone and helped me create the beauties below. Before we start let's take care of some business. If you came from Roni's Blog then you came from the right place. If you didn't you can start at the beginning with Karen from Club Scrap's Blog.

Finished card measures 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"

For this card I used the Pattern Play Grey Cardstock for the base of my card. I used the Twin Tags Circles Stencil with Club Scrap Onyx ink, then I slightly offset and used the Club Scrap Peridot Ink. I used the Club Scrap Pigment White Ink to stamp with Pattern Play Stamps. I love what the white ink did to the dots underneath.

Finished card measures 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" folded

I used the 8 1/2" x 11" plain white cardstock from Paris Flea Market for the base of my card. I masked the bottom edge 1" to keep it clean. Using Oxide Inks and a Blending Tool I inked directly to cardstock. I spritzed some water and let dry. I used the gorgeous bicycle stamp from the Paris Flea Market collection using Club Scrap India Ink. The sentiment is from the Bouquet Stamps and also stamped with India Ink.

Finished card measures 4 1/4" x  5 1/2" folded

For this card I used the 12x12 Cherry Blossoms patterned paper for the base of my card. The beauty of the Oxide Inks is that you can ink on a darker cardstock and the colors shows amazing in real life. I used the Wild Rose Stencil with the Oxide Ink. The top layer is the Club Scrap India In. The sentiment is from the Dahlia collection.

For my last card I used the Pattern Play Grey Cardstock for the base of my card. Once again I used the Wild Rose Stencil but this time creating different colored flowers. The sentiment is from the Color Me Happy collection.

Now head on over to Lisa's Blog to continue the awesome inspiration of one layer projects.

Smile Tag

Here are the steps to replicate this tag.
1. Create an inked design using Distress Oxides on Soft Finish Cardstock. I added a Perfect Pearls mixture with water for a shine. This is optional.
2. Diecut the inked background with Tags and More 5 - Sunburst Die.
3. Diecut blue cardstock with smaller Romantic Corner Die. Adhere to bottom left corner.
4. Diecut 2 flowers with Bunch of Flowers 4 die. Ink and shape then add some prills to the center. Adhere on top of Romantic Corner using Kid's Choice Glue.
5. Diecut green cardstock with Curvy Leaves Die. Ink and shape then adhere to tag. See below for visual placement.
6. Diecut cardstock with clear double sided adhesive on top with Dragonfly Die. Carefully peel off the resist paper. Pour soft microfine glitter teal/blue. Remove excess. Gently but firmly using your index finger in a circular motion to bring the shine out as well as setting in the glitter. Adhere to tag using Kid's Choice Glue.
7. Diecut blue cardstock with clear double sided adhesive on the back with Smile Die. Remove resist paper and adhere to tag on an angle. See picture below for visual placement.
8. For a finishing touch add some yarn or ribbon through the tag hole.
