Hi Everyone,
Welcome to the December Club Scrap Blog Hop. Can you believe 2016 is almost over. I can't but this month's Shades of Winter Kit is a must have. If you don't have it then be sure to get it now. Before we get started if you came from Julie's Blog then you came from the right place. If you didn't you can start at the beginning with Karen at Club Scrap's Blog.
Finished card measures 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
I totally love Shades of Winter. The 12x12 patterned paper is too beautiful to hide behind other papers so I decided on smaller elements. First I placed a strip of the white ribbon at center. I diecut the dark blue glitter and stamped the snowflake with CS Watermark Ink Pad. I used silver embossing powder. I added a silver diecut in foil which I placed on top. I added a metal snowflake. To finish the ornament I created I added a bow with the dark blue sheer ribbon at the top.
Happy Planner 1 week spread
For my Happy Planner 1 week spread I used the Shades of Winter Digital Kit printed on plain photocopy paper. I did this because I don't want my planner to get too bulky. All you need is a printer, trimmer, double sided tape and imagination!
Happy Planner - My New One of a Kind Cover
I am so excited how my cover turned out. I used the gorgeous 8 1/2 x 11 patterned paper. I used 2 pieces from the cut-a-part paper. Once I was happy with the placement I passed it through my laminator. Using my crop-a-dile I cut out circles and then used scissors for the slits. I now have a one of a kind Happy Planner Cover with a beautiful design I can look at everyday.
