Elizabeth Craft Designs June Coloring Artist Team Challenge

Hi Everyone,

Welcome back to the Elizabeth Craft Designs Coloring Artist Team Challenge. The Artist Team challenge this month is to create 3 Clean & Simple cards using one stamp set with 3 different images from that set. The card must include one colored image and a sentiment. This was my hardest challenge yet. I am not a clean & simple card maker and I love how this challenge brought me out of my comfort zone. Below are the steps to recreate my cards. But first here are the details for the contest.

For today's challenge Elizabeth Craft Designs are giving away a Krista Schneider Jungle Cuties Clear Stamp set with coordinating dies; a pack of Dusky Lavender Soft Finish Cardstock and a pack of White 100lb 8.5" x 11" Soft Finish Cardstock to 3 winners.

To enter simply leave a comment on the Elizabeth Craft Designs Challenge post and tell us "Describe your crafting style

We will select 3 lucky winners in a random drawing

The winners will be announced on Friday, June 23 on the Elizabeth Craft Designs blog.

Be sure you place your order now because Elizabeth Craft Designs is having a Summer Savings Sale. See below for details.

All cards are 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" folded

  • I used the Feathered Friends Clear Stamps Set on white Soft Finish Cardstock 100 lbs. All images were colored using Promarkers.
  • Once colored I diecut each image using Stitched Squares Die. Then matted it with a diecut Dotted Scallop Squares on white Soft Finish Cardstock 100 lbs using Clear Double Sided Adhesive Tape.
  • Stamp a sentiment from the Clear Stamps General Sentiments directly to card base.
  • Adhere the images with pop ups.
Below you will find single images of each card as well as the direct links for all products used. Be sure to head on over to the Elizabeth Craft Designs Blog Post to see what the rest of the team created. Thanks for stopping by!

  3. What a fabulous set of clean and simple cards. I just love how you used the white on white. It shows off the coloring of the stamps.
