Spring Blooms Love Card

Hi Everyone,
Welcome back to another love card. I made this card for my son to give to his new girlfriend for Valentine's Day. I wanted a more non traditional card without the hearts. Below you will find the easy steps to replicate this card.

Before we get started I have a Blog Giveaway going on. Click Follow my blog for a chance to win this awesome die from Elizabeth Craft Designs. The Lace Corner Die. The deadline is Friday January 26. The winner will be announced on Saturday January 27. Good luck to everyone.

Lace Corner Die

  • Step 1 - Base of card, Trim Black Soft Finish Cardstock to 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", fold in half for a Horizontal Fold Card. Folded card measures 4 1/4" x 5 1/2".
  • Step 2 - Trim Strathmore Bristol Smooth Paper 100lbs to 4" x 5 1/4". Run an Embossing Magic Pad over the paper. Stamp Spring Blooms image using an Embossing Ink Pad. Sprinkle White Embossing Powder then heat set with a heat tool. You will need to stamp the image twice by changing the direction.
  • Step 3 - Color the images with watercolor markers or pencils. I used Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. Let dry then adhere to card using 3mm Clear Double Sided Adhesive Tape.
  • Step 4 - Stamp sentiment with Black Pigment Ink.

This card can be used for any occasion by changing the sentiment and colors. Below are the links to the products used for your easy convenience. Thanks for stopping by and remember Follow My Blog for a chance to win the Lace Corner Die.
